It's awesome how life works. I've known Jacob for a few years. He was actually in our wedding. We had an usher back out last minute and he stepped in without even really knowing us. (Thanks again Jake!) He is one of my very dear friends(Becky's) brother. Becky texted me one evening and asked if I minded if she gave my number to someone needing engagement photos. (Just for the record, I never mind a referral! ;))
Turns out, he was leaving in 3 days to be sent to training, then deployed. Talk about needing the photos quick! Kendall called me that night. Their original photog had been in a car accident (not hurt, thank God) and couldn't make the drive. We set a time for the next day. Well, wouldn't you know, it rained. Of course. Isn't that just my luck. Poor Kendall was upset (rightfully so). So, we went for the next day ( the DAY before he left).
Let me just say, I LOVE clients who come to me with ideas. I want your photos to be YOURS. Not an idea I came up with that may not be you. Kendall is big into horse riding, and old cars. Right off the bat, she told me she wanted some vintage shots with the cars. At first, I wasn't so sure, but they turned out fantastic!
So, enough blabbering - here's my favorite of the favorites. :)
Thank you Jacob and Kendall for being such awesome people! <3
